HAMILTON, N.Y. – Sophomore netted 30 points and tied an Army single-game record with 22 rebounds to lead the Army West Point women's basketball team to a 76-69 win over Colgate in Patriot League action on Wednesday afternoon at Cotterell Court.
Army improves to 12-4 overall and 3-2 in the Patriot League with the win, while Colgate falls to 5-11 and 2-3.
Hovren finished with at least 30 points for the second time this season after scoring a career-best 35 against Lafayette on Jan. 5. The sophomore's 22 rebounds matched the team single-game record set by Army Hall-of-Famer Pam Pearson (USMA '86) on Jan.
