BUFFALO, NY - Army West Point hockey (13-18-4, 12-12-2 AHA) fell in game one of its Atlantic Hockey Tournament quarterfinal series against Canisius (16-16-3, 13-10-3 AHA) by a score of 5-2. Army fell behind by two goals less than eight minutes in as Canisius was able to hold the lead throughout.
Joey Baez scored his 21st goal of the season and 12th on the power-play for Army, while Thomas Farrell deposited his sixth of the season with a third period power-play tally.
Army found itself on the power-play less than two minutes into the contest, with an early chance from Max Itagaki which was saved being Army's best opportunity.
