CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – Army West Point men's basketball saw Tommy Funk named to the Patriot League All-Rookie Team on Monday.
Funk becomes Army's eighth cadet-athlete selected to the all-rookie team in the last 10 years and first since the 2013-14 season.
The Warrington, Pa., native has started in every game this year for the Cadets and his 9.1 points per game has him fourth on the team. He notched a career-high 16 points in back-to-back contests against Navy and Boston University on Jan. 21 and 25, respectively. The rookie has also posted twin figures in 13 contests, while dishing out a career-high 12 assists in a contest with Holy Cross on Jan.
