SPARKS, MD - Army West Point women's lacrosse sophomore Brigid Duffy has been named a USA Lacrosse Preseason First Team All-American, as announced today.
Duffy is the lone underclassman to land on the first team and is the first player in program history to garner Preseason All-American honors.
The Queensbury, N.Y., native posted a program-record 82 points this past season on her way to Patriot League Rookie of the Year and All-Patriot League first team honors. Atop the national leaderboards in goals and points among freshmen throughout the season, Duffy was the top scoring rookie in the country in the regular season with 56 goals.
