WEST POINT, N.Y. - The Army West Point women's track and field team claimed fifth at the Penn Challenge hosted by the University of Pennsylvania on Saturday.
Army placed fifth of eight teams in Philadelphia, out-scoring St. John's, La Salle, and Rider, with a score of 58 points. The University of Pennsylvania won the meet with a score of 146.6.

"We performed well today without really loading the team all that much," said head coach Mike Smith. "We are pointing toward the championship meets so we came into this meet hoping to get a better look at some of our developmental athletes and fine tune some things with a select group of key athletes.
