WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. – The Army West Point women's lacrosse team handed Monmouth its first loss of the season after topping the Hawks, 12-9, on Wednesday afternoon.
The Black Knights (5-0) got ahead early and never trailed in the game. It marks the second consecutive year that Army started a season with a 5-0 record.
Cameron Manor was at the front of the attack against the Hawks (3-1) as she tied her career-high scoring mark with four goals. The junior came off the bench and needed just five shots to tally her four scores.
