BOSTON – A 69th-minute tally by sophomore Morgan Walsh allowed the Army West Point women's soccer team to pick up a crucial point with a 1-1 tie at Boston University on Wednesday evening.
Despite being outshot 27-2 in the contest, the Black Knights halted their season-long three-game losing skid and moved to 6-4-6 and 2-3-2 in league play. The Terriers, who saw their six-game winning streak snapped, move to 7-7-3 overall and 5-0-2 against Patriot League foes.
The home side managed to break the scoreless draw in the 23rd minute when Taylor Kofton was the beneficiary of a set play off a corner kick by Anna Heilferty.
