MANHATTAN, Kan. –The Army West Point baseball team dropped games to Stonehill, 7-4, and Kansas State, 14-8, Sunday in closing out its trip to Manhattan, Kan.
GAME 1 – Stonehill 7, Army 4
Trailing 4-0 after five innings, the Black Knights rallied behind a three-run sixth keyed by solo homer, RBI groundout and run-scoring single, as Army collected three of its eight hits drawing to 4-3.
Reliever , who took over for Army in the fifth, retired the side in the top of the seventh on a double play. Black Knight leadoff homer in the bottom knotted the score 4-4.
