CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – The Army West Point women's tennis team was selected third in the Patriot League's preseason poll, announced Thursday.
Reigning league champion, Boston University, was selected first with 124 points and 14 first-place votes. Navy, who fell 4-1 in the championship match to the Terriers, is second with four first-place votes and 111 points. The Black Knights, who posted a 20-6 record last season, rounded out the top three.
Lehigh was chosen fourth with 84 points, followed by Bucknell's 68 points. Loyola was picked to finish sixth with 57 points, while Colgate (51 points), Lafayette (28 points) and Holy Cross (18 points) close out the rankings.
