WEST POINT, N.Y. – Army West Point Athletics and the New York Mets have announced the exhibition game between Army and the Mets originally scheduled to be played at West Point on March 31 has been moved to Citi Field.
The contest has relocated to the home of the Mets due to field conditions resulting from the recent winter storms that passed through the Hudson Valley. First pitch for the matchup is now scheduled for 1:10 p.m. and will be a seven inning game.
"We are all very disappointed that the weather did not cooperate and provide our cadets and the West Point Community an opportunity to witness this incredible event," Director of Athletics Boo Corrigan said.
