WEST POINT, NY - Army West Point men's lacrosse (5-1, 2-0 Patriot League) outscored Lafayette (2-5, 0-2 Patriot League) 8-2 in the fourth quarter to eventually take down the Leopards by a score of 17-9.
On a rainy Friday night at Michie Stadium, the two teams began stagnant on the offensive end as the score was 1-1 after the opening quarter. Gunnar Fellows had evened the score at one with 11:33 to play as the teams went scoreless for over 12:30 of total game time. Army got back on top with goals coming from Jacob Morin and Paul Johnson as the Leopards didn't find their second goal of the game until there was 6:21 remaining in the first half.
