HEMPSTEAD, NY – No. 16 Army West Point women's lacrosse improved to 5-0 this season with a 14-11 road victory over Hofstra (2-4) on Saturday afternoon.
Army outscored the Pride 4-1 in the final frame as the game was knotted at ten through three quarters. Brigid Duffy continued to lead the Army attack, posting four goals and three assists. Army had six players score multiple goals in the game with every attacked proving a threat in the Black Knights offense this season.
Lindsey Serafine collected her first career win in the cage, making four saves while allowing just one goal after coming on in relief late in the third quarter.
