BALTIMORE, MD - No. 15 Army West Point women's lacrosse (15-3, 8-1 Patriot League) was defeated by a score of 13-8 in the Patriot League Championship to No. 9 Loyola (17-2, 9-0 Patriot League).
Brigid Duffy led the Black Knights with a four-point effort (two goals, two assists) while securing four draw controls, picking up two ground balls and having zero turnovers. Julia Franzoni was a force in the draw circle yet again, securing a game-high eight draw controls to go along with a goal. Franzoni helped a draw effort that saw a 13-11 advantage for Army, marking the second time this season that Loyola has lost the draw battle, and first time in the Patriot League.
