Nacogdoches, Texas (2/16/19) – The Arkansas State baseball team belted three home runs in an 11-2 victory over Stephen F. Austin Saturday afternoon.
The Red wolves improved to 1-1 on the season, while the Lumberjack’s fell to 1-1.
A-State scored runs in all but two innings in route to their first victory of the season. Alex Howard, Andrew Leggo and Eli Davis all homered in the contest, while Chandler Coates picked up his first victory in an A-State uniform.
A-State broke the game open with a three-run third inning that pushed the lead to 4-0.
