RUSTON, La. (3/1/19) – The A-State baseball team fell to Louisiana Tech 9-4 Friday at J.C Love Field Friday evening.
With the loss, the Red Wolves drop to 7-3 on the season while the Bulldogs move to 7-2 on the year.
The Red Wolves found momentum in the top of the sixth when Sky-Lar Culver doubled to left field to put himself in scoring position, then Jaylon Deshazier singled up the middle to score Culver to pull within 7-4.
The Bulldogs had a strong third inning when Parker Bates singled to the pitcher which advanced Netterville to second and scored Mallard, then Chris Clayton doubled down the right field line for a triple RBI and scored Robinson, Bates and Steele Netterville to take a five-run lead over the Red Wolves.
