NORFOLK, Va. (1/2/25) – A suffocating defensive performance led the Arkansas State men's basketball team to its sixth win in a row, as it defeated Old Dominion 78-59 Thursday night inside Chartway Arena.
The Red Wolves (11-3, 2-0 SBC) limited the Monarchs (5-9, 1-1) to just 26.6 percent (17-64) from the field – the lowest clip allowed in a conference game since holding Little Rock to a .241 mark on Jan. 25, 2014.
A-State, meanwhile, converted on 43.5 percent (27-62) from the floor and was 8-for-18 (44.4 percent) from 3-point range. From the foul line, the Scarlet and Black was 16-for-19 for a season-best 84.
