Strong Defensive Effort Powers A-State Past Southern Miss, 74-53

JONESBORO, Ark. (2/12/25) – Arkansas State women's basketball (16-8, 12-1 SBC) used a fierce defensive effort to power past Southern Miss (9-16, 4-9 SBC) in a 74-53 victory on Wednesday night at First National Bank Arena.

led all scorers with a career high 17 points while also tallying eight rebounds and four assists. led the team on defense, setting a new career mark with six steals.

As a team, A-State shot 28-for-83 (33.7 percent) from the floor and 12-for-40 (30 percent) from beyond the arc. The 83 field goal attempts are the eighth most in a game in program history, while the 40 three-point attempts are the third most this season and the fourth most in school history.
