JONESBORO, Ark. (9/30/16) – The Arkansas State volleyball team swept ULM 3-0 (25-12, 25-13, 25-21) Friday night at the Convocation Center in Jonesboro in the Red Wolves home Sun Belt Conference opener.
The win improved A-State to 11-6 overall and 3-0 in league play with the victory representing its 19th straight SBC win. The Warhawks fell to 7-13 overall and 2-1 in SBC action.
“This was a total team effort,” A-State head volleyball coach David Rehr said. “We played pretty well against an improved ULM squad; especially the first two sets and stepped up when we had to in set three.
