JONESBORO, Ark. (11/23/16) – The Arkansas State women’s bowling team is ranked as the top team in the country in the latest National Tenpin Coaches Association (NTCA) Poll that was released on Wednesday.
The Red Wolves (29-8) received 28 first-place votes and 1,337 total points to jump to first after being ranked third in the Preseason NTCA Poll. Sam Houston State is ranked behind A-State with eight first-place tallies and 1,223 total points. Nebraska (1,170), McKendree (1,148), and Stephen F. Austin (1,008) complete the top five of the November poll.
Arkansas State has competed in three tournaments this season with no lower than a third-place finish in any of the events.
