Leadoff hitter Ty White went 4 for 5 with 3 runs scored and 2 RBI on Friday as Arkansas State (16-21, 6-13 Sun Belt) took control of Friday's game at Tomlinson Stadium in Jonesboro against Louisiana-Monroe (15-23, 6-10) with a four-run third inning.
White hit a home run on a 2-0 pitch in the bottom of the first inning to give the Red Wolves a 1-0 lead. He also singled in the third inning, which followed a Tony Ortiz double to put runners at the corners with no outs.
