Red Wolves Win Eight Events On First Day of Red Wolves Open

JONESBORO, Ark. (4/20/18) – The Arkansas State track and field teams won eight events on Friday to begin the Red Wolves Open at the A-State Track & Field Complex.

Cristian Ravar Ladislau broke his own school record in the hammer throw and won the event with a throw of 68.73m (225-06). Calea Carr won the women’s hammer throw with a mark of 56.82m (186-05). The Red Wolves swept the long jump competitions with Carter Shell taking the men’s competition with a leap of 7.41m (24-03.75) and Arabriaun Mack winning the women’s event at 5.
