JONESBORO, Ark. (1/25/19) – The Arkansas State track and field teams won 14 events at the A-State Invitational Friday inside First National Bank Arena.
“It’s January 25 and we’ve been in school for two weeks, so we are still getting the soreness out here at this meet,” said A-State head coach Jim Patchell. “What I wanted from this meet was effort and competitiveness. We got that today and we capped it off with a bunch of teams competing hard in the 4x4. Even though we are certainly not at 100 percent right now, we still had quite a few personal bests today.
