SAN MARCOS, Texas (9/29/18) – The Arkansas State volleyball team battled league-leader Texas State in all three sets, but suffered a 3-0 setback (22-25, 21-25, 24-26) Saturday night at Strahan Coliseum.
Texas State improves to 4-0 in league play and 13-5 on the season while the Red Wolves fell to 10-7 overall and 2-2 in conference play. A-State hit .200 on the night, but the Bobcats hit .356. A-State had seven aces to the Bobcats three and each team totaled five blocks.
Carlisa May led the Red Wolves with 14 kills, while Tatum Ticknor paced the defense with 13 digs.
