MIRAMAR BEACH, Fla. (4/22/19) – The Arkansas State men’s golf team shot a second-round 274 Monday at the Sun Belt Conference Championships, jumping from fourth place to first with a combined 555 at the Raven Golf Club at Sandestin.
Freshman Luka Naglic remained atop the individual leaderboard and junior Zan Luka Stirn climbed from seventh place into a tie for second to lead the Red Wolves through 36 holes of action. Four of A-State’s five competing players turned in a score of par or better today, helping the squad cut seven strokes off its first-round total.
The Red Wolves now hold a three-stroke lead over Coastal Carolina and Georgia Southern, which are tied for second place.
