JONESBORO, Ark. (4/12/25) – In the final home match of the season, the Arkansas State tennis team treated a stellar crowd at the A-State Tennis Complex to a 5-0 sweep over Southern Miss Saturday morning.
The Red Wolves (12-9, 5-5 SBC) cruised past the Golden Eagles (4-13, 0-10) in doubles and maintained that momentum into singles play. A-State's 12 wins is tied with the 2009 campaign (12) for the most wins since 13 in 2008, while its five conference victories is the most since 2000 (7).
"We couldn't have asked for a better way to close out our last home match," senior Abigail Thurmer said.
