MANHATTAN, Kan. (9/20/21) – Competing in its second event of the season, the Arkansas State women’s golf team is tied for seventh among 10 teams after the second round of the Marilynn Smith Sunflower Invitational at Colbert Hills Golf Course.
The Red Wolves opened with a 25-over par 313 in the first round, but posted a 10-over par 298 in the second round to total 611 (+35) after 36 holes in the 54-hole tournament. Nebraska (B) leads the field at 5-over par 581 with host Kansas State second at 14-over par 590. A-State enters the final round 10 strokes behind fifth place Kansas and Nebraska (A).
