INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (2/7/25) – Freshman Lilly Cvanciger provided the match-clinching victory Friday night at the Indianapolis Racquet Club, as Arkansas State women's tennis topped Butler 4-3.
The Red Wolves (5-3) rallied back after dropping the doubles point, winning four of the first five completed singles matches to top the Bulldogs (0-6). Cvanciger went 2-0 in doubles and singles, including the clincher.
"I'm so glad that we were able to find a way today," Cvanciger said. "After a close double point, we showed strong team spirit and fought for every match in singles.
