Red Wolves Finish Sixth at Grand Canyon Invitational

PHOENIX, Ariz. (3/12/25) – Led by three players collecting a top 25 individual finish, the Arkansas State men's golf team completed play Wednesday at the Grand Canyon Invitational in sixth place among 18 teams after recording a combined 862 for the tournament played at GCU Golf Course.

A-State, which shot a final-round 286, finished only one stroke behind fifth-place Cal State Fullerton. Host Grand Canyon led the field with a total of 840 (-12) with New Mexico State (+1), Pacific (+2) and Drake (+3) rounding out the top four.

Thomas Schmidt led the Red Wolves with a tied for sixth place finish, collecting his second top 10 of the season.
