ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (9/20/24) – The Arkansas State men's golf team stands fifth among 17 teams at the William H. Tucker Invitational after two rounds of play at the University of New Mexico Championship Course.
A-State was 10th after an opening round 4-over par 292 but shaved 10 strokes off in the second round with a 6-under par 282 to total 2-under 574 for 36 holes. The 6-under par second round tied for the third-lowest total. Host New Mexico leads at 21-under par 555 followed by Grand Canyon (-11), Colorado (-10) and Long Beach State (-6). Stetson (-1), Santa Clara (-1) and San Diego State (-1) are tied for sixth while USC (E) is ninth.
