JONESBORO, Ark. (11/1/19) – After leading by two sets, the Arkansas State volleyball team dropped a five-set decision (25-16, 25-21, 21-25, 20-25, 11-15) to Georgia Southern Friday night at First National Bank Arena.
The Red Wolves (13-9, 4-6 Sun Belt Conference) served nine aces in the match and saw another double-double effort by Macey Putt (18 kills, 13 digs), but the Eagles (7-15, 2-9) showed resilience in battling back from down two sets to extend and ultimately take the match.
Malgorzata Andersohn also notched a double-double with 12 assists and 19 digs, her team-leading ninth of the year.
