MANHATTAN, Kan. (9/18/17) – The Arkansas State women’s golf team shot a 299 Monday at the Marilynn Smith/Sunflower Invitational, ending the three-day tournament’s second round tied for fifth place among nine teams with a combined 605.
Although the Red Wolves cut seven strokes off their first-round total and saw three players climb in the individual standings, they dropped one place on the day into a tie with North Texas. A-State is currently just five strokes behind Tulsa and within six of third-place Kansas.
Kansas State leads the field with a 583, while Rutgers stands second with a 596.
