COLUMBIA, Mo. (9/28/21) – An even-par 288 in the second round helped the Arkansas State women’s golf team climb to a tie for fourth heading into Wednesday’s final round of the Johnie Imes Invitational at The Club at Old Hawthorne.
The even-par 288 total ranks tied for the sixth-best round in program history and marks the eighth par or better round in program history. All eight have come under the direction of head coach M.J. Desbiens Shaw and seven of the eight have come since the start of the 2019-20 season. A-State has totaled 590 (+14), tied with Illinois State, and is three strokes behind Oral Roberts (+11) for third.
