ST. LOUIS, Mo. (4/13/18) – The third-seeded Arkansas State women’s bowling team fell to Sam Houston State 2-0 to end its quest for its first national championship as they finished in a tie for fifth place for the fifth straight season.
The Red Wolves ended the season with an 88-36 record with the 88 wins representing the third most in program history. This year's NCAA Tournament was A-State's 11th straight appearance.
A-State dropped a 988-890 traditional match to Sam Houston State to begin the day as Jordan Richard (209) and Jadee Scott-Jones (202) both knocked over 200 pins.
