RALEIGH, N.C./SAN MARCOS, Texas/AUSTIN, Texas (3/27/25) – Jacob Pyeatt shattered his own school record on Thursday to highlight Arkansas State track and field's competition across three meets.
Pyeatt bested his previous program-best mark by nearly 30 seconds, clocking a time of 13:35.90 in a 13th-place finish at the Raleigh Relays.
In Texas, four A-State track and field athletes posted top-5 finishes in their respective events on Thursday to open competition at the Bobcat Invitational and the Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays.
Two of those competitors – Menachem Chen and Nyima Williamson – won their events, taking first in the discus and long jump, respectively.
