JONESBORO, Ark. (8/20/24) – After opening the 2024 campaign with strong performances in a pair of shutout victories, Arkansas State soccer's Keelyn Peacock and Damaris Deschaine were named Sun Belt Conference Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week on Tuesday.
Peacock scored two goals on 10 shots in matchups against Little Rock and Southern Indiana to secure offensive honors. She ranks 19th in the nation for total goals and 40th in the nation for total points through one week of action.
Deschaine earned defensive laurels after recording her first two wins of the season against the Trojans and Screaming Eagles.
