ATHENS, Ga. (4/6/19) – Nine top-10 program ranks, including a school record in the women’s 4x100m relay, highlighted a strong weekend for the Arkansas State track and field teams at the Spec Towns Invitational.
Caitland Smith took the top time in the 200-meter dash sprinting to a finish of 23.27 seconds. Smith along with Jonae Cook, Kerra Williams and Osereme Erewele improved their school record in the 4x100-meter relay to 45.13 seconds.
Emma Nwofor competed in the heptathlon and nearly reached Shundra Smith’s school record total of 5,377 points set in 1996.
