MIRAMAR BEACH, Fla. (4/21/19) – Arkansas State freshman Luka Naglic tied his career-low round with a 66 to open play Sunday at the Sun Belt Conference Men’s Golf Championships, where the Red Wolves completed the initial 18 holes in fourth place among 12 teams after posting a 281.
Led by Naglic and junior Zan Luka Stirn, who stands tied for seventh, the Red Wolves ended the day at the Raven Golf Club at Sandestin just three strokes behind co-leaders Coastal Carolina and Little Rock. Georgia Southern is currently in third place with a 279.
Naglic’s 5-under-par score gave him a one-stroke lead over three players tied for second place, while Stirn carded a 69 to give the Red Wolves two players among the top-10 leaders.
