PAWLEYS ISLAND, S.C. (9/9/24) – Sophomore Jake Lile matched his career-best round of 4-under par 68 and senior Jack Maxey joins Lile at 7-under par 137 after 36 holes as the Arkansas State men's golf team holds the 36-hole lead at the Golfweek Fall Challenge.
Lile turned in six birdies and a pair of bogeys Monday to card his third 4-under 68 in his young collegiate career to climb to a tie for third individually, four strokes back of Patton Samuels of Austin Peay for the individual lead. Maxey backed up an opening round 68 with a 3-under par 69 to join Lile in a tie for third.
