LAS VEGAS, Nev. (1/8/18) – Arkansas State senior Jordan Richard won the 2018 United States National Amateur Bowling Championship and in the process earned an automatic spot on Team USA 2018 after she competed at the United States Bowling Congress Team USA Trials and U.S. Amateur Championship, held Jan. 3-7 at The Orleans in Las Vegas, Nev.
Richard bowled her way to the top of the amateur standings with a total pinfall of 6,451 and had 24 games of 200 or more with a high game of 267. She advanced to the Stepladder Finals and squared off against defending champion Julia Bond of Nebraska.
