Arkansas State (3-8) scored three runs in the fifth inning Saturday and two more in the sixth to turn a 3-2 deficit into a 7-3 lead, but Jacksonville State (9-2) answered with two runs in the bottom of the sixth and added three more in the eighth to earn a series victory at Rudy Abbott Field in Jacksonville, Ala.
Will French scored on Daedrick Cali's sacrifice fly in the first inning for the Red Wolves. He hit an RB I single in the fourth inning to tie the game 2-2 after the Gamecocks used two RBI singles in the bottom of the third to take the lead.
