MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (3/8/16) – Led by all-tournament selection Andrew Huseman, the Arkansas State men’s golf team claimed runner-up honors at the Bash at the Beach Invitational after shooting a final-round 288 Tuesday that gave it a combined 854, its second lowest 54-hole score this season.
Including three consecutive championships entering the Bash at the Beach, the Red Wolves have now finished runner-up or better in five of their last six tournaments dating back to the fall. A-State ended the tournament ahead of 17 teams, including host and Sun Belt Conference member Appalachian State, running its head-to-head record this season to 74-15-1.
