JONESBORO -- Torii Hunter was a standout safety at Pine Bluff High School in the early 1990s before his lengthy baseball career.
Hunter quit football to focus on baseball, then spent 19 years with three major league teams. His three sons took up the sport, though, and one of them at Arkansas State, senior free safety Money, constantly reminds the elder Hunter who is better with pads on.
"He says he can tackle more people than me, or he can hit more people," Money Hunter said this week before an ASU practice. "But, I feel like I hit harder than him.
