JONESBORO, Ark. (2/6/21) – The Arkansas State men's basketball team completed a two-game-weekend sweep of Louisiana on Saturday, topping the Ragin' Cajuns 83-77 at First National Bank arena behind the strength of five players scoring in double figures.
A-State won for the third time over its last four outings, improving to 8-9 overall and 5-5 in Sun Belt Conference action. Entering the weekend on a five-game winning streak, Louisiana saw its overall record move to 13-6 overall and 7-5 in league play.
A-State was led by two players posting a double-double, including senior guard Marquis Eaton and freshman forward Norchad Omier.
