NEW ORLEANS, La. (3/6/17) – Redshirt senior guard Devin Carter has been named to the All-Sun Belt Conference Second Team, the league office announced Monday.
Carter led the league in 3-pointers made (101) and 3-point field-goal percentage (.407) while ranking fifth in scoring at 16.6 points per game. He went 7-for-8 beyond the arc at South Alabama to break the single-season program record for 3-pointers. He is one of just 17 players this year with 100 or more 3-pointers made.
An All-Sun Belt Third Team selection last season, Carter helped A-State tie the program record for regular-season wins this year as the Red Wolves finished 20-11.
