BLACKSBURG, Va. (9/20/19) – Defense has been a consistent presence for Arkansas State volleyball so far in 2019, and that trend continued on Friday at the Hokie Invitational.
A-State (8-3) continued its strong defensive play that has been a consistent presence throughout non-conference play as the Red Wolves held both of their opponents to sub-.150 hitting percentages and totaled 16 blocks to down Charlotte (3-0) and Virginia Tech (3-1).
Across the two matches, Julianna Cramer combined for 54 assists, while three Red Wolves accounted for 11 or more kills in the second match of the day.
