Cristian Ravar Ladislau Punches Ticket to Eugene

AUSTIN, Texas. (5/25/17) – Junior hammer thrower Cristian Ravar Ladislau punched his ticket to Eugene for the NCAA Outdoor Championships to highlight the first of three days at the NCAA West Region Preliminary for student-athletes from the Arkansas State University track and field teams.

Ravar Ladislau established the school record in the hammer throw for the second-straight outing with a throw of 67.46m (221-4) on his third and final throw of the day. His first throw of 66.78m (219-1) was more than enough to clinch a spot in Eugene. His best mark of the day ranked fifth among his peers and he will compete in Eugene for the first time.
