JONESBORO, AR. (1/19/18) – The Arkansas State women’s bowling team moved to first place in a pool of 28 with a total pinfall of 10,269 after the second day of competition at the Kutztown Invitational in Reading, Pa.
The Red Wolves went undefeated on the day (5-0) with a 951-929 win over Kutztown, 1,128-913 victory over Long island and a 1,142-920 advantage over St. Francis. A-State kept its momentum when it defeated Maryland-Eastern Shore 1,102-990 before beating Fairleigh Dickinson 1,102-906.
“It was a solid team effort today,” said A-State head coach Justin Kostick. “We were able to figure out how the lanes were breaking down and we were making the right adjustments and ball changes.
