Bingham, who was named the Sun Belt’s Defensive Player of the Year earlier this month, leads the league in both sacks (9.0) and tackles for loss (18.5) and is ranked 27th in tackles at 5.4 per game. Entering the bowl season he is responsible for the 11th most tackles for loss and the 21st most sacks in the nation, while also ranking ninth among all defensive linemen in tackles.
The Bennettsville, S.C., native is a two-time All-Sun Belt selection and was also named as a South Carolina Football Hall of Fame (SCFHOF) Blanchard-Rogers Award semifinalist in 2018 and has also been placed on the Senior Bowl Watch List.
