ARLINGTON, Texas (9/16/24) – The Arkansas State women's golf team carded a program-record 36-hole total of 12-under par 564 to lead seven other teams in the UT Arlington Maverick Classic at Tierra Verde Golf Club.
A-State turned in an 8-under par 280 in the first round and backed it up with a 4-under par 284 in the second round. The Red Wolves first round total was two strokes shy of the program record low round of 278 set just last week at the Golfweek Fall Challenge. The 8-under 280 is the best team total on a par-72 course in program history.
