ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (2/11/17) – Jaylen Bacon and Jamil Peeples each set school records to highlight great performances by the Arkansas State track and field teams at the Don Kirby Elite Invitational this weekend.
Bacon bettered upon his school record time in the 60-meter dash, flashing a time of 6.59 seconds to win the star-studded event. The time ranks as the second-fastest in NCAA this year and fourth-fastest on the USA Track and Field yearly bests. He nearly bettered his school record time in the 200-meter dash, flashing a time of 21.24 seconds to place third overall, second among collegiate athletes.
